This 10-day Stop Motion Animation Summer Camp introduces students aged 6–10 to storytelling through hands-on animation. Using simple materials and guided prompts from STEM, Art and History, students will work in teams to create short animated films inspired by folk fables such as Panchatantra.
Students will imagine stories, design characters, build scenes, capture frames and bring their ideas to life with guidance from mentors in narration and storytelling. They develop creativity, storytelling, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills while creating their own animated films.
The films created during the camp will be presented to parents and the wider community at a grand showcase on 9 May, where students will also receive certificates.
Further details about the program will be shared on the first day of the workshop.
